The rooms at Abangane Guest Lodge are absolutely amazing! They are so cozy and comfortable, with the twin beds that can be converted into double beds. The mosquito net adds a nice touch and ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The luxury en-suite bathroom with a glass shower is just heavenly. Plus, the flat-screen DSTV, coffee & tea tray, fridge, and electronic safe provide all the conveniences I need. It's like a home away from home!

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the separate dressing table in the room. But hey, that's just my preference.

Our stay at this hidden gem was simply delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine care. The rooms were beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable and serene space to relax. The breathtaking views of the surrounding hills added a touch of tranquility to our stay. The homemade cakes and the well-stocked honesty bar were delightful treats. The breakfast basket that was prepared for us each morning was a thoughtful gesture and kept us satisfied throughout our busy days. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as a lack of hot water and the presence of dogs, our overall experience was excellent. We would highly recommend this guest lodge for a truly top class stay.

Located in a serene area, this lodge is perfect for Kruger National Park enthusiasts. The breakfast served in the morning is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, and the pool offers a refreshing break from the summer heat.

The location of this place is very convenient and close to the airport, making it a great starting point for exploring the area.

The hotel is situated near the base of the Blyde River Canyon and is also very near several gates to Kruger Park. The building is a farmhouse beautifully landscaped in breathtaking countryside on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment. There is beautiful infinity swimming pool perched on the edge of the view. The owner is utterly charming and makes guests feel instantly welcome. As a bonus there are three lovely dogs who are happy to play with all guests that like dogs. It is worth planning an extra day here just to enjoy the view and the atmosphere. Breakfast was good and there is an assortment of small town bars, restaurants and shops for those who wish to venture into Hazyview.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms impressed me, as well as the hotel facilities, such as the pool and garden which were not to be missed. The location near Kruger park made it easy to explore the park and its surroundings. The breakfast was also fantastic and the staff were attentive and accommodating.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The hosts are super friendly, Klaus is a very good cook, the ambient is just extremely cozy. You feel like you're miles away from everything else and can only enjoy the view and relax. The pool and garden are very well maintained and the view can make you travel far far away while seated under the porch. Their 4 legged friends are as friendly and always ready to cuddle and running around. Feels like the rich grandmothers house where all the family gets together. The rooms are nice, simple but comfortable and spacious. Although its a bit price relating to others, I would definitely recommend this lodge if you want to really relax and enjoy a quality accommodation.

Had a great time over Xmas at this hotel. Loved the beautiful views from the rooms and the fantastic breakfast buffet. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I also enjoyed lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun.

The gravel road leading to the hotel was a nightmare - had to park my car at the bottom of the hill and walk up, which was a huge hassle. Also, the TV in my room was outdated and had limited channels. despite the downsides, I had a decent experience.

The Abangane Guest Lodge is beautiful and my wife and I wished that we could have stayed there for longer. The Abangane Lodge is real close to Kruger National Park, so if you prefer 5 star accommodation and easy access to Kruger National Park, it is definitely the place to stay. Klaus and Ridwaan are excellent hosts and immediately made you feel at home. Even before we have arrived at Abangane, Klaus was very helpful and answered all my questions. We also recommend having dinner at Abangane one of the nights during your stay. The dinner prepared by the hosts was delicious and we still can't stop talking about the ostrich dish.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts upon arrival and immediately felt at ease. The view from the hotel, overlooking a neighboring macadamia farm, was absolutely lovely. The location of the hotel was also excellent, as it was positioned perfectly for exploring attractions like the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. We couldn't have asked for a better base for our adventures. The personal touch of homemade baked muffins and rusks at breakfast was delightful, and we loved coming back to a different delicious cake for afternoon tea every day.

We highly recommend this place to friends and family. It's truly a hidden gem where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
